Years at Glen Forest ES: This is my 7th year at Glen Forest and all have been on the 3rd grade team!!
Why do you love working at Glen Forest? When starting my career as a teacher, I wanted a school that reminded me of my elementary school where the staff was welcoming and the community celebrated diversity. That is exactly what I saw 7 years ago and continue to see at Glen Forest. The students are excited to come to school and learn. The administration takes time to get to know the students and staff on a personal level. My 3rd grade team (past and present) continues to support, challenge, and encourage me every day! They truly are an amazing team to work with!

Hobbies/Interests: I love UNC basketball, camping, hiking, walks with Koda our golden-doodle, and finding a nice venue with some live music on the weekends!
